Where can you go dancing in the city
So my sister is turning 40 this fall and she said she wants to go out dancing. She looked to me, her younger sister, to know somewhere cool to go. Little does she know, my cool badge expired a few years ago and I'm clueless.
She thought PollyEsther's was still open and is looking for a place like that. I don't think there's any clubs like that around but I'm hoping some of you might know of a good place to go.
Re: Where can you go dancing in the city
pollyesters is no longer around.
cavenaughs river deck has a more mature crowd early in the evening.

i like dancing at:
letage, the raven lounge, medusa, and are fun, but can be youngish some nights.
Topless dancing probably isn't what she had in mind. I mentioned the River Deck but I didn't know what type of crowd that drew.
Good suggestions, keep 'em coming!
Are people still dancing at Lucy's?

Time (upstairs where the DJ is). I wouldn't say it's an old crowd, but it's certainly not 21 year olds.
700 club
The bar above Finn McCools is also very "young professionals" ish. Kind of trendy but fun.
Plough in the Stars
Silk City - I used to love the MMP nights...they only play Madonna, Michael, Prince
Letage
This is quite the mental picture!

I was just there on Saturday. Do yourself a favor and pass on it....unless you like little creepy men trying to grind-up on you.
But if you happen to enjoy that, Michael's in Bensalem is where it's at.
Thank you everyone!
New Queen, I'm going to check and see where the Legwarmers are the month of her birthday. I think she would love that. Just seeing your name in this thread reminded me!
July 23rd at The Troc!!!!!
GTG anyone?!?!?!?!
