The rainforests of New Jersey?
I'm kinda weirded out. It's been pouring rain on and off since last week. Like monsoons. And yesterday and today, it's been all muggy and humid, though I suppose that's redundant. Anyway, I had court this morning in Bergen County. Both on the way into and out of the courthouse, I could hear a bird or birds positively SCREECHING. I'm no avian expert, but it really sounded like tropical birds, as if I was watching a nature show on rainforests. With the temp and humidity, it was pretty surreal.

I'm begining to feel like a duck. I hate all this rain!!
I can't believe you had screetching birds in the trees, that had to be crazy. Today it may actually feel like a rainforest. It's supposed to be in the 80s

Ok, I just came back from lunch and apparently we have a little rainforest going on here as well.
It's hot and muggy out and the birds are screetching, and yes it's kinda creepy!

This morning was absolutely gross. It finally burned off around 11am here but was still slightly warm/muggy even then.
At 5:30am on the way to teh air port it was already over 70 degrees and so muggy I had my windshield wipers on.
I feel like the weather across the country has gone crazy this season! We are way below average for temperatures for a few days and then suddenly hit the sweltering level. Craziness!
L- I've always wanted to visit a rain forest... maybe now I won't have to travel so far!
