A Deoderant Question...
I'm super paranoid about smelling, I have deodorant in every single bag, desk drawer, cabinet, you name it. I've been using Dove, Secret, Degree and most recently Toms, and I feel like none of them really do the job well. Do you ladies have any recommendations for a good deodorant? TIA.

But since I've had C I feel like it just hasn't been working. I just switched to Secret Clinical Strength and feel like it's working well.
Thanks Mellie, I'll take a look at that. I used to use Secret Clinical and I really loved it, but I read somewhere that the aluminum zirconium in them is really bad for you. So yeah, I freaked out and stopped using it lol.
Ive used Lady Speed Stick for years and never had any problems with smelling or deoderant stains.
Dove- i felt wasn't strong enough
Secret- i felt was too thick and left marks everywhere
I use LSS also and was complimented the other day on my perfume...and i told them i didn't wear any (it was my friend's sister)...she kept insisting that i was wearing perfume, had someone else smell and said "smells great"...i finally was like, must be my deoderant...i think i use the shower fresh LSS.

I use Secret Clinical Strength and it works really well for me.
The aluminum what-you-call-it is the anti-antiperspirant component which is what keeps you dry. I once read somewhere a rumor about brain cancer and deodorant. I did some research and basically if applied topically to the brain then yes it would, but armpits..no problems.
So many things we use everyday are filled with toxins...nail polish for instance.
I used to be on the secret clinical kick until I read it was supposed to be applied at night and something else was to be used during the day ( I guess like a certain dri?) I now have switched to degree. There is on that had come as a free sample with a bjs pack that has like a perfume smell to it and I am addicted. I think its called sexy something.
I sweat a lot during the summer so Im curious to see if the degree will hold up as well as Id like. Our family are big 'sweaters' and we have sampled a lot...my aunt likes lady mitchum but I dont like the goopy feeling and the time it takes for the gel to dry. My sister likes secret but I think it stains my armpits yellow. I have heard good things about lady speed stick 24/7!
This post came at an awesome time, I was just looking into new deo. I have been using Dove which I like for everday wear (especially the clear) invisible, but I feel like at work I've been getting way too nasty wearing lead for 8-10 hours. Yuck. Maybe I will try the secret clinical strength!
I've pretty much tried them all and found that the clinical strength really didn't do much more for me vs the regular secret or dove that I was using so wasn't worth the extra $$.
I used Lady Mitchum for a little while, which has a higher % than clinical strength and is cheaper! (this has 25% Anti-Perspirant while clinical strength is 20%) But I hated the scent it had so stopped using it. Looks like it now comes in powder scent so I may give it another try.
I also use Certain Dri for special occasions (weddings, etc) but that has to go on the night before. It works awesome.
