I'm a Mommy!
I came out on FB this morning, but we've had this secret for quite some time now.
Parker Owen was born on April 22.The story of how we were matched is in my blog, but in short, we were matched back in February. We decided to keep the match and the birth to ourselves to mostly family. The case was sensitive and we were fearful of what might/could happen.Plus, our birth parents were right here in NYS, so her 30 revocation period ended last night! It is SO great to finally "come out" and share my news with you all! I can't believe it just about 2 years ago that you were all cheering us on during our IVF treatment and helping me through the disappointment of the failed treatments. I can't believe after just about 4 years of trying to have a family I was able to celebrate Mother's Day this year!
