Ok ladies be brutal please!!! I can take it!! This is going to be for a transition from military to civilian in the logistics field!! TIA ladies!!:)

  • This is purely grammatical, but you need to work on the tense of each bullet point under "Areas of Effectiveness." Each point should be read with the same beginning. i.e. (I am effective in) developing interpersonal and communication skills. (I am effective in) achieving long and short term goals." In general I don't think "Areas of effectiveness" is a good heading anyways.

    Also this sentence: "I would like to utilize my years of a being a leader, and professional to apply my education, knowledge, skill, and ability in this field" does not really make any sense.

  • I'd get rid of the objective. For the most part, objectives are out and it usually looks stronger to go in with an experience summary showing as many skills as you can match to the job description. I'd merge the first bullet under areas of effectiveness with the bullets above it to put together an experience summary. I'd stay away from soft skills and focus more on concrete skills and accomplishments.

    For your education, i'd just say Bachelor's in Human Resources, expected completion date...

    For the truck job, I'd condense that big time, and focus on accomplishments, data and numbers like you did in the last bullet. No one is going to want to wade through that many bullets, and you want to keep only the duties/accomplishments that are in line with the job description.
