How is everyone this morning?
Re: Morning Ladies
Tiff- Guam was great. It is very hot over there and it rains daily, It's a different world out there and super expensive. A gallon of milk runs around $8.00... do you believe that! I seriously do not know how people fuction on that island with everything so pricey.
Dave and I got to meet and enjoy a really nice meal with Stephanie and her husband Andrew. They are just a lovely couple, hopefully we'll meet again
Morning Ladies!
We're expecting bad storms today, and it's starting to get dark out.
I am better now than I was earlier this morning. I had a potentially ugly situation with a student, which was making me feel sick to my stomach, but she did what I asked with only a little complaining, and everything worked out :-)
My students are working on their exam review packets today, so the day is just dragging on. Staffing in my dept changed last week, so we got revised schedules for next year this morning, and many ppl are very upset and are being mean to our dept chair about it. A couple of ppl even made her cry. I feel so bad for her b/c she has to remain professional even though she wants to tell these ppl to stop acting like big babies.
Good morning! It's gray and dreary here...looks like it'll probably rain a lot today. Blah.
It was announced during a Department meeting yesterday that I'll be one of the new supervisors...so it was nice to hear that people seemed happy to get that news.
Jessica, that really stinks about the way some of your teammates are reacting. Things happen with staffing, and it's not the fault of the Dept chair...but that's always who gets the brunt of the negative reaction. It's not fair.
