Whoops we missed it! What are you thankful for this week?
I, for one, am thanking my lucky stars that I found DH and that we really are perfect for each other. Of course we have our faults and problems, but I'm proud of the way we always talk through anything that's going on and I never have a doubt in my mind that I picked the right guy!
I have two close friends going through ugly breakups right now - the kind where nobody really did anything wrong, they just realized the guy wasn't "the one" and why drag it out? I'm thankful to be a sounding board for them and to give them advice, but to NOT have to be going through that right now!
Re: Thankful.... Wednesday?
I'm thankful that the rain has finally stopped...oh wait...nevermind...
I'm thankful to be caught up enough at work that I can come back to you fine ladies! : )
I'm thankful that I have the energy these days to keep our house spic and span and have dinner on the table when DH gets home from work each day.
I'm thankful I had the opportunity to spend quality time with my best friend this past week before she heads off to live over the ocean.
I'm thankful I am on track with work that I'm not behind!

I'm thankful for DH sponsoring Amazon prime for us so I can get my books and his birthday present in two days! They will be arriving today! I will be studying for my CIA tonight :-) DH's present is a model plane of what he flew in the AF. We don't have anything like this yet, but my dad had a bunch around my house growing up. I'm sure he'll love it!!
I'm thankful that we have a three day weekend encompassing my birthday so I might get to relax! DH has also said he is willing to make my birthday cake :-) So sweet! I just have to figure out what I want!

Any day is a good day to be thankful
I'm thankful for the long weekend coming up!
I'm thankful for my washing machine & dryer because I have a TON of laundry to do after unpacking from our trip - I hate this part!!!
I'm thankful that with gas prices the way they are, that I'm NOT commuting 60 miles a day anymore to and from work. My commute is only 20 round trip now...which translates into mucho bucks!!!
You drove 60 miles a day to work and home??? I hope it wasn't bumper to bumper traffic!

On this day, I am especially thankful for my health.
I learned over the weekend that a good friend's breast cancer had spread to her brain. She is so very positive and ispirational, and I know that she's going to beat this...but it really brought home how fragile it all is, and how your life can literally change in the blink of an eye...yes, very thankful!
I am so thankful to have DH home. He was gone for 11 days which isn't that bad but I missed him so much. And now that hes home you know what that means. Bow chicka wow wow.
I am also thankful that the weather is beautiful here today! I was going to start building an ark, and so I am really glad that I didn't.

I am thankful that MH is off this week and getting stuff done around the house. Most of the stuff I am unable to do!
I'm also thankful that we are getting a new deck. The guy tore our old one down yesterday and said it's the worst he's seen. So I'm doubly thankful that it never collapsed!

It was 30 miles each way!! Miserable!! And the last half of that trip was usually bumper to bumper. The first 15 or so miles would take only about 20 mins and the last 15 miles about 40 minutes (After I crossed the bridge from NJ into Staten Island). Insane!!! Now my whole commute is 20 minutes! WHEWWWW
I am also thankful for a husband who is ready to fight all my fights all the time. He knows and understands that I need to keep as calm as possible for the baby. Its amazing to see how protective he is of me....oh and his future son!
I am also thankful for this group of girls! I just wished we all lived within a few hours of each other so we can do a monthly get together to discuss anything and everything....Y'all really do brighten my day!
I am thankful to have survived more NASTY weather today. We were in the basement at work for about 20 min or so after the storm sirens went off. Plus, I drove home in really heavy rain and some hail.
I am also thankful to be working again. I have been super busy this week learning new stuff, which is why I haven't been around here during the day. Now that I am starting to know what I am doing, I am starting to like the job a little more.
I am super, super thankful for MH. Today he called me to give me a heads-up about the storms and to check on me to make sure we were ok. It's so nice to have someone concerned about you during the day-time storms.
