Health & Fitness Wednesday

How are you ladies doing w/ your goals?

My goal is very far away, but i'm trucking towards it! I finally officially started cracking down on my serious weight issues and I'm doing Weight Watchers again. I wasn't so good w/ my first full week last week, but I still lost .4 lbs. Which is a step in the right direction! I'm hoping for a better result this week (my weigh ins are Thursdays so i'm trying to be really really good today)!

    I'm still doing the same stuff - gym about 4x a week. I haven't done much running since the 5k earlier this month because of shin splints. They're finally starting to feel better so I think I'm going to give running a shot on Friday. But yesterday, during kickboxing class, I totally tweaked my shoulder. It had been a little sore since last week (we did a few new arm excerises in Zumba) and it really only hurt if I moved my arm a certain way. But last night...Oooowee! I was doing some right hooks and bam! It just started killing me. I iced it last night when I got home and then DH got me some Icy Hot. I even woke up at one point last night and could fall back to sleep for a while because it hurt and I couldn't get comfortable. Ugh. I'm hoping that it's nothing too serious.

    I also need to lose a few pounds. I feel like my stomach has gotten bigger which is weird because I haven't really changed anything that I've been doing. But since I bought those b-pics....I'm sure I'll be having my session soon (esp. if I want to try to get them for an anniv. gift). I want to make sure I look as good as I can.

    Blech.

  • I unfortunately gained the 25lbs I lost the 8 months before the wedding during the course of this school year. Beginning grad school and having a difficult class zapped my energy and motivation to go to the gym. I still have classes right now, but they are online and I can pretty much do things at my own convenience. IT is so nice to not have class (in person) for 5 hours tonight!

    I went to the gym yesterday and today. My goal will be 4 days a week till school is out and 5 days a week (when we are in town) during the summer. I can't wait to get back to healthy habits!

  • I did the same thing Elisha, plus some!!!

    But today, i'm proud to say that i lost another 2lbs in the last week! yay!

  • Still running...got my pace to 10 minutes per mile.  I am happy with that.

    Only 3 weeks from Sunday for my first 1/2 marathon.

    I ran 8 miles on Sunday.  I would like to get my weight training up to 3 days.  I get a little bored when it comes to weights.
