I know we had talked before about your son have the milk protein allergy. Hunter is still on the special formula. He is eating solids of fruits/veggies. We don't go see the dr again until the end of June when he is 9 months old. I was curious if you had any other suggestions besides meat of what you fed your son at this stage. He is on the milk free/soy free formula. So I am stuck coming up with anymore milk/soy free options for him.

  • Hi!  I really hope your son's allergy is gone by the 9 or 12 month visit. I know with solids we did all the usual fruits/veggies (banana, sweet potato, squash, green beans).  I feel bad, but I can't really remember, but I think I think we did the Gerber finger foods.  I would definitley check the back of the package to see if it contains dairy products.

I wish I had more suggestions. I"m so sorry!  How's your son doing overall?

  • He is growing crazy, probably at least 23lbs and 31 inches. So he is not having a problem with that. He is still on his reflux medication.

All of the gerber food have milk or soy in them. That is why I am at a loss. All the mums, puffs, teething biscuits, etc still have milk and soy in them.

He is doing great eating fruits and veggies. I just feel bad that is all he can have when we are eating tons of stuff.
