Did I make the right choice? WWYD
So I made a choice already- but I'm curious to hear what others would pick!
Circumstance- Moving from Boston to Westchester NY, Business Professional about 5 years into career
Job 1- my current job- they have promoted me 3 times in the past 3 years, the most recent being when I approached them yesterday giving my two weeks notice for the NY job. I figured they were based in Boston and I couldn't stay- they found me an office space at their sister company in NY or agreed to let me work at home + promotion(new title)+ raise (To outbid the job offer I had in NY) I like the day to day, and have a team I manage who relies on me (some remote members too)
Job 2- an exciting start up- really cool guys, high growth industry- not sure how much I would love the day to day* its slightly different from what I've done before but great opportunity- slightly less money with a 1 hour commute each way, and 300 dollars in train tickets each month, but lots of opportunity for advancement
Which would you have taken!?
