BR: Playards
BRU no longer has the playard we registered for. After reading more reviews, I'm not sure I'm crazy about it anyway (it was the chicco). Can you recommend your playard or what you registered for. What do you like/dislike about it.

We have 2 of these, each has 6 panels. They fit with each other, so you can actually make like a giant play area. They are not the easiest to detach at first, but once you get the hang of it they aren't that bad.They come with special padding you can stick to the bottom too, so they can be used on tile/wood and the baby can't push them around.
In action:
We have this one and I like it alot. Its a good size, not to big but also have the changer on top and storage down below. It comes with music and the mobile (although the mobile doesn't move)
We got this one. Eddie Bauer Complete Care Playard. It's a dark brown and light blue.
There isn't anything entirely special about it. It does it's job. Folds and sets up easy. I like that it's pretty gender neutral... a little more on the masculine side but I like the colors... And that's the basis for choosing this one.

But really, keep that play yard in mind for when your LO becomes mobile, they're awesome.
As for pack n play, we had one like this but ours was a different color. I really like it. Its a bit bigger than most of the other PnP which can be good or bad. We're still able to use it with Phoenix at 8 months, and my niece has used it and shes just over 12 months. Its definitely still good for travel though, and comes with a nifty zip bag to put it in. It also has the changing table. It does not have a mobile, and as of yet I have not found a sheet that fits the mat like the Gracco ones have.

We weren't too picky. It's set up in our bedroom right now, waiting for baby. Seems like it should work fine, but obviously we haven't tested it out with a baby yet.
(The damn cats like it though. There's foil in it right now to keep them from sleeping in it!)
This happened to me too! I actually just got a different color and style but we love ours- we have the Chicco lullaby lx in the color cubes. Its sitting in our living room right now as the changing table and its great.
