Ok girly girls - let's see what ONE fashion/beauty item you are currently obsessed with and/or cannot live without
Re: PIP Wednesday
Favorite fashion item: Skinny Jeans. I LOVE them!
Favorite beauty item: Rimmel Lash Maxx Waterproof Mascara - this is my favorite kind of wand!
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
Well I'm currently lusting over these shoes....but I have closed toe pumps in patent leather that I love that I wear with everything (not CLs) I just don't have a nice picture of them all by themselves so I used this one but they just go with everything!
Oh and now that summer is FINALLY starting the maxi dress!!
Beauty Item I can't live without:
Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion (length and volume waterproof) - my eyes are my favorite feature to highlight when I get dolled up
Fashion Trend : Summer Dresses!!! This is one I bought recently at target. I just LOVE it! : )
Beauty Product : TimeWise Miracle Set from Mary Kay
My sister-in-law sold Mary Kay, and when she stopped she had SO much leftover products, that I got seriously about $500+ of free MK merchandise while I was down at Texas. This is probably my favorite thing I received!
Stila oil free tinted moisturizer! Does wonders for my face
10/11: Dx PCOS, 2000mg Metformin

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
OPI Gelish gel nail polish!!! This stays on for weeks ( they advertise 3, but I still get mine done every two)...and THEY DON'T CHIP OR PEEL!!! A gf recently told me about this, and I thought...no way...but yes way! I have a two week old manicure that looks as fresh as the day I got it, except at the cuticle where my nails have grown. Loving it!
I have recently fallen in love with Clinique Black Honey (the "Almost Lipstick" version is soooo nice and smooth). It's known as the universally flattering shade, and looks different on everyone. It looks almost dark brown in the tube, but it's like a plummy red on me, but very subtle. Perfect for daytime. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
Thanks for the reminder! I used to wear this a while ago and never got around to replacing it when it wore down - I loved it also! Just finished ordering a new one from clinique...ps - they have a great gift with purchase of $14.50 or more :-)
Currently obsessed: Bangs! They are almost always out of fashion so I am always super excited when they are IN style
Can't live without: sunscreen! no wrinkles for me!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
Oh I cannot WAIT to pick this up this weekend!
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
Is this what they suggest you put over your real nails to keep them firm like they would be if you had acrylic nails?
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
Jeni: Yes, it is! It's a three step process. After the regular manicure, the technician lightly buffs your nails, using one of the those soft square "squeezy" buffers. Then she applied a layer of the gel base - then places your fingers under the blue light so that the layer dries (about 5 minutes). Then, she applies the gel color, and back in for another 5 minutes. Finally, she applied the gel top coat, and back under for the final 5 minutes.
It's about 15-20 minutes longer than a regular manicure, but my nails stayed strong, did not break for what's now been two weeks, and the color has not chipped or peeled or anything! If you didn't see my new length at the cuticle, you'd think it was a recent manicure. It stays shiny also, with no need to reapply a regular top coat. So yep - the same effect as acrylic without the damage or the harshness to your natural nail! It comes off by just soaking a cotton ball in acetone remover and holding it on the nail for a bit, and then the gel layers slide off. Quite neat!!
These shoes. Just got them and they are soooo comfortable. (Sorry about all the white space, I can't figure out how to crop this picture)
I've been wanting to give this a try, but I was afraid it was damaging to your nails. I'm glad you explained it more
I'll let you know if I do!!!
Is it sad that I'm not a girly girl when it comes to this stuff? I guess my only must have is this:
Keeps the bumps on my arms down (keratosis pilaris aka chicken skin)
