Well THAT was embarrassing.

I had a physical and a TB test scheduled for today. (Both are required for teaching in IL). I needed them done for the new school I'm teaching at. No biggie. Had both done numerous times.

So I came down with a bit of a cold. Monday night it was a sore throat. Yesterday, I woke up and my throat was KILLING me (I was pretty sure I had strep.) By late yesterday afternoon my throat was okay and I had a head cold (congestion, sinus pressure, etc.) This morning, I woke up and felt ok. Had the cold, but not bad enough I couldn't function. No biggie. I knew the physical would mostly be checking my vitals, etc. so I went to the appointment.

I got sick in the doctors office. Like sick sick. I got hot and sweaty, then dizzy/lightheaded, then threw up. It literally came out of nowhere. I was like "I'm sorry, I'm a little warm and a little dizzy.....and now I'm nauseous. I'm gonna be sick...." The whole thing lasted like 5 minutes, but I was SO embarrassed. Who does that? Plus, then she started asking about my cycle, how good I am about taking my BC and if I could be pregnant.

Sounds like it's just a nasty virus, but I was so embarrassed. Luckily I feel a lot better now, but man. I felt so bad, especially because I was in there for a physical, not because I was sick.
