I was hired in as a customer service rep back in 2000. Soon there-after the business asked me to work on the supervisor line as a rotational opportunity. Then, I was asked to work on a large conversion project. I applied and was formally announced as the team lead. However, my corporate profile never changed from customer service rep, because all these opportunites were "rotations." Rotations required interviews, but since they were relatively short term positions, they would hire either external contractors or use rotations for internal employees.
A position I'm looking into is a managerial position. I want to highlight my lead and supervisory experience. I was responsible for delegating, feedback, and time management for about ten people. I didn't handle any of the HR aspects, for instance employee reviews etc. This position I'd like to apply for would manage a group of five.
Anyhow, how do I highlight the team lead experience on my resume. I really only worked in c/serv while I was with the company part time finishing up my degree. Once I went full time, I was quickly recognized & utilized in other departments.
Re: How to highlight rotational positions you've held?
I would do something like "Rotational Assignments, Month-Month, Year"
And list the managerial duties you had
