Random Question: Midsummer Night's Dream movies
Anyone seen ones they've really liked? I have copies of the 1930s version (with Mickey Rooney) and the '90s one with Christian Bale and Calista Flockheart, but neither really work for me. I ordered a recent one (2007) from Amazon, but it has been delayed and now I'm wondering if it's even worthwhile.
Re: Random Question: Midsummer Night's Dream movies
Yeah, the Stanley Tucci one is the Christian Bale one. It's not very good, I agree. Plus, there's some nipple in it. My grade 7s get upset about these things.
I LOOOVE that Much Ado! My favourite Shakespeare movie of all time. I wish I was teaching it! My grade 12 English teacher said I was "like a young Emma Thompson" and I almost swooned. Best compliment I've ever received.
