My kid is a window-licker

Jeffery is supposed to be playing Mario Kart in my room while I'm getting fencing quotes and such, and instead he's holding the wheel while literally licking the mirror on DH's bureau! *Forehead smack* When I asked him what he was doing, he just giggled and said "I lick it, Mama!"

At least I know I cleaned it yesterday. Sheesh.

Re: My kid is a window-licker

  • This is not going to make you feel any better, but my XH's dog Manny used to lick himself in the mirror all the time. It was hilarious, like he was greeting the other dog in the mirror with a sloppy kiss. This, OTOH, might make you feel better. In my child development class they always talked about how it's good for them to play with the kid in the mirror, so hey, he's got that going for him!

LOL! My dog used to growl at himself in the mirror!

It wasn't so much the mirror, but just something to lick. He's been licking everything the last few days, which is a new thing. I think it started because I told him to lick ketchup off his arm the other night when he accidentally splattered it. I may have created a lick-monster!
