Can someone please tell me what is all the hoopla around this Hunger Games business?
Are the books worth reading?
*Now that Im not in school for the summer semester and have time to read for leisure...
...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
Re: Hunger Games Obsession?
The books are great and super addicting. I read all three in two weeks. My whole office is obsessed. We are intently following the filming updates. You should check them out. You won?t regret it!
I am in the middle of reading the first book and it's very good so far. Very quick read because it is geared towards young adults.
The girls on the Twilight board are super obsessed with this series so they inspired me to try it out.
I was apprehensive about reading them, I really didn't think that I would like the first one. Once I finished the first one I bolted out to B&N and bought books 2&3.
They are super quick and super engaging.
Thanks for the feedback, ladies!
Sounds like I need to check it out. As soon as Im done reading the book Im reading now, I will download them.
Not a spoiler, but at one point while reading one of the books I started to shout at the book, No! No! You can't do that!
And DH looks at me and was all, you know, it is a book, it can't hear you and even if it could, it can't change now.
He just doesn't get it.
