What's fun to do in Atlanta on Memorial Day weekend?
I haven't found anything around here yet. Warner Robins seems to turn into a ghost town on summer holidays (Aerorea, do I see you nodding your head?)
I'd like to hear any recs you may have. Would Stone Mountain be a good choice?
On the 4th of July I'm on call so I have to stay around Macon and by Labor Day I'll have a newborn, so I'd really like to find something fun this weekend.

Yeah, a lot of people hit the road for Memorial Day weekend. I know this all too well - my birthday usually falls around the holiday and trying to have a party sucked while growing up because most of my classmates were out of town.
As for recs, sorry - I have none. Traffic that weekend is just ridiculous and we stay off the roads. Plus, everywhere is packed. If you've never been to Savannah, that's one option to consider.
Stone Mountain is good for an afternoon. I like to do the laser show every couple years; it a cheesy good time. But you have to claim your spot on the lawn by 6 or so, it get crowded pretty quickly.
I have no idea if this is your thing, but the Renaissance Festive has half of tickets this weekend too.
