Glee anyone? (Possible spoilers)
Who watched the season finale last night? What did you think??
Re: Glee anyone? (Possible spoilers)
Ditto! I also loved the coffee shop scene. Kurt and Blaine and then Sam and Mercedes.

I really really love this episode, probably because I love New York and remember my own excitement visiting there for the first time as a teenager. I still get like that when I visit now
I thought most of the songs were good, not amazing, though I also loved Kurt and Rachel's duet. I still haven't seen Wicked, dammit. Need to. And they totally played on my heartstrings with Rachel and Finn's date, breakfast at Tiffany's, etc...
I wasn't surprised they didn't win nationals, but I was a bit surprised they didn't even put them in the top ten. And then they didn't say much more about who did win, or how far Vocal Adrenaline got in the competition. But then once it happened, it made sense and it felt like the right way for things to go.
Does anyone else think that maybe Sunshine Corazon will jump ship and join New Directions next season, now that she and Rachel made things right and Sunshine obviously hates the vibe with Vocal Adrenaline?
I'm also wondering what it means for the show that they'll be seniors next season. Will they stretch that year over more than one season? And then what? The show ends? Do they follow Rachel to New York? Will be interesting to see...
I loved it. I too was not surpsied that they would not win nationals. I loved the breakfast at Tiffany's and Kurt and Rachel's performance.
I don't get what is up with Quinn. Her pitty party is starting to get on my nerves.
I'm looking forward to next season.
Ugh, I hope not. She's not a very good actress and I find her character pretty boring. I think she has a lovely voice but the only performance from her that I've actually enjoyed was when she did the "Telephone" duet with Rachael.
Good point. She's not a great actress.
Whoa! You're right, this IS only the 2nd season. I got on the Glee train late and played catch up and everything must have blurred together because I feel like I've been watching these kids for AGES. So much has happened. I think the episodes of them at regionals made me forget how many times they've gone all the way. I'd thought they were up to 3 attempts at this point and was getting irked about them not winning again.
Since they did say next year is senior year I'm gonna go ahead and say they will definitely win next year. It would be messed up for them to never win lol. But GOOD question about whether the show will continue past that.
Women don't want to hear what men think,
women want to hear what they think, in a deeper voice
I was kind of "eh" on the finale. It felt a little forced at times. I did enjoy the date scene with Finn & Rachel. And I liked the song they did about NY while they were running around the city. The second song they did for sectionals was pretty good too. And I actually thought the kiss at the end of the first song made that song -- without it, I thought the song was kind of boring.
I read an interview with the director (I think?) who was saying that they're going to start transitioning characters off in 2012, and bring fresh faces in. They were experimenting with the "fresh faces" thing this year with Sam and Zices. It sounds like they'll graduate off many of the kids next year, and then come in with a largely new group for the 4th season. (Although, I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the "graduates" stuck around in some way, or made guest appearances).
