-Mosquito bites on me only last for about 3-5 minutes before going away

Things you don't know about me:
- I was in a sorority in college.
- for my 21st b-day I went to a drag queen show (along with lots of bars).
- I don't go in lakes/ponds/oceans, etc. I don't like water that has living things in it. freaks me out.
- I don't like sharing the sunday paper.
- I worry constantly and about everything.
- I've seen the movie titanic 1 time and that was in the theatre. It's too long to watch again.
- I haven't seen my dad in 25 years.
I'll think of more...........
Nothing really interesting here.
- I speak Spanish, actually Spanish was my first language, but with attending school as a kid English became my primary language.
- I was such a tomboy as a kid. I loved playing sports with my brother and am ashamed to admit that I was a Dallas Cowboy fan

- I am a HUGE football fan, even moreso than Richard. You should hear my potty mouth when the Raiders play, I'm like an entirely different person.
Shauni- I've never watched any of The Godfather movies, not really interested in watching them. I've never watched The Sopranos either.
Moleson- I always worry. If DH is late I worry that something happened to him. When I get a call from my parents at an odd time, I worry that something happened.
I have one more to add.
- I played the clarinet in elementary school. DH also played the clarinet in elementary.
It's hard to come up with things that aren't rip-offs of other people's, but I will try!
-I've had 6 teeth pulled, and I have two teeth implants
-I was purple when I was born
-I have $160 worth of sale stuff in my shopping cart at TheLimited.com and I need to be talked down
-I was baptized in a Methodist church, but received my first communion and was confirmed in the Lutheran Chuch.
-I wear a medium in latex gloves, but a small in nitrile gloves
-My favorite color is yellow
-My first car was a 1987 Honda Civic
-I just got paid $20 to donate spit to a Twin Registry
All of these, except I played the clarinet all the way to the end of 10th grade, and DH never did. He played the trumpet in middle school, though. There's a $3000 clarinet sitting in our hall closet.
i have this fear with lakes and ponds too, so i only go up to where i can touch. once it is too deep for me, i totally freak. the ocean isn't AS bad, but i still do not like going out too too deep.
also, i am the opposite with titanic. i could tell you every line from that movie. 11 years later and i still love it
Blog
- I get nervous about singing in front of other people but I LOVE to sing along to the radio and belt out songs when I am alone in the car.
- Usually, if I have a main course and a couple sides for dinner, I eat one type of food at a time. I'll eat all the chicken, then all the stuffing, then all the potatoes, etc and never mix them. H makes fun of me for it.
- I want a dog so badly, especially since our last attempt fell through. H says he does not want one right now but I'm so desperate I'm about to research some breeders by myself, put a down payment on a puppy and just tell him later. If I know him as well as I think I do and should, he will be mad at first then quickly fall in love with the puppy and everyone will be very happy. This is either going to be the best move I've ever made or fail miserably and bite me in the face.

- in college there was one parking ramp that we would always park in when we went to the bars (well, my friend who doesn't drink did the parking). It seemed like it was ALWAYS have construction or something done to it. my confession is that my stupid a$$ used to always steal orange cones from said parking garage. I think by the time I graduated, I had 5ish........ Doesn't seem like a lot, but I didn't turn 21 till my senior year of college.
- i don't like melon....any kind. sometimes i can stomach watermelon but that's about it.
- I LOVE hotdogs in mac n cheese. LOVE LOVE LOVE. J thinks it's disgusting!
- I've had size 10 feet since 6th grade. I hate having big feet. wish they would shrink!
*I played the flute for 4 years in grade school.
*I was among the first female altar servers at my church.
*I sang in the children's choir at church for 6 years.
*I have a very active imagination which makes it very hard for me not to worry about things. DH has been on a business trip and I've freaked out every night. My current job doesn't help the situation.
*Prior to moving out and having my own kitchen, I didn't cook very often, and the only baked goods I made were from boxed mixes. Somehow, I'm a great baker and decent cook - I attribute my success to watching lots of Food Network.
-I have a fear of something grabbing me if I hang a limb over the bed.
-I still have a reacurring nightmare where Mickey Mouse chases me.
-Hair wrapped around my toes literally makes me puke. I rinse my feet like 5 times in the shower and don't take baths because of this.
-I have a killer look with my eyes. It allows me to get alot of what I want, I used this too much when single.
-I hate fish, eating it and being around them, but I will put my big girl panties on and touch them.
Lake people-I don't mind being in them, but since they're filled w/ parasites and the like, DH sends me into decontamination mode. I have to go straight to the shower, my clothes go straight to the sanitary cylce and DH spoon feeds me some crap so creepy crawlies don't grow in my tummy. Not my fault all triathlons are in man-made reservoirs..
Shauni-we're Titanic twins. I will watch it any day any time. And you've never met me in person, I could prolly out-gas you...
Clarinet players-me too! Only in 5th grade, DH did too in 5th grade. Weird.
Random facts:
-My left boob is a D, right is a C
-Didn't get my DL until I was 20, took my driving test in my college roommate's 67 Buick. Funtimes.
-I will buy shoes b/c they are "SO CUTE" and then not throw them away b/c they are too uncomfortable. What a waste of $$
-I was in IB in high school, dropped out the second semester of senior year because a) We couldn't afford the exams and b) I was too afraid to fail
-I'm the "man" in the marriage. I would rather sit around with my hand down my pants, watch football and drink beer. DH is the "woman". He cooks, cleans and takes care of the dog. I attribute it to laziness on my part
Vomit, vomit, vomit! Me too, ew, gross. Actually, hair anywhere on my body or near me (that's not mine) freaks me the fvck out!

I am so guilty of this. I have new shoes in my closet that haven't been worn, or only worn a few times. Before buying shoes I ask myself if I will really wear them. Or I'll buy them and give it a few days and return them once I've thought about it for a while.
Me too! H does the dishes and laundry and is constantly following me around picking stuff up. He taught E to be OCD about her cleanliness. I do clean my floors and bathrooms and dust like a crack head though.
-I played the Trombone from 5th grade till I graduated high school.
- I hate Pulp Fiction, I have given it many chances but still dont like it.
- I am deathly afraid of seaweed and will not go into the water if I see any little bit of it.
- I think I am weirdly overly excited that this pregnancy is planned perfectly with the State Fair. We waited to start trying till after this years fair and I will have the baby in time for next years.

I currently have $225 worth of bedding in a Kohls shopping cart and also need to be talked down. But it is on sale and would be for our guest bedroom which doesn't have a matching set right now.

I've been waxing my eyebrows and lip for 15 years now - I thank one of my cousins for that one.
I had perfect vision until I turned 21
I've been tested to being allergic to cats & dogs - but own 2 cats and 1 dog and I'm fine (and I want a few more of each).
I've never watched The Godfather, Scarface or any original James Bond Film.
It can take me days to watch a rented movie - I usually fall asleep watching it.
When DH and I are home together at night after work, we'll cuddle sometimes, other times we're both on our laptops & watching t.v.

A lot of clarinet players on the board! I played from 4th grade through sophomore year of college and seriously considered going to school for performing arts (woodwinds).
I was in marching band for 4 years and in my senior year of high school, I was the drum major.
In addition to performing arts and engineering, I also had culinary school on the table. Every so often, I still think about going.
I am obsessed with Lord of the Rings. I own the extended version of all three movies and have watched all three of them back to back (about 13 hours) on several occasions. I used to be able to recite "The Lay of Luthien" . . . in elvish.

Visibly chipped nail makes me fret.
I will often sort of plan my days off a full year in advance.
I am a major list maker.
I blowdry my hair MAYBE once a month. Otherwise I am wash & go.
I've never had stitches aside from dental and I've never broken a bone.
This! In that order too. Everybody thinks Im weird. When at home I will actually go get my veggies, eat then go back for the next item...
Steph - I also eat my protiens last.
To the people grossed out by hair - I have a lot, and I mean A LOT of wild, unruly untamed hair. So much so, that I can only wash it once or twice in two weeks ( in the winter) and I have to flat iron it into submission. Because of my constant battle with it, there is always this mass exodus of hair leaving my scalp. They jump ship then congregate together to form these monster hair spiders all over the house. Chris claims they wait for him in the dark and jump and cling to him. They also like to hang out in the dryer and washer. There they like to embedded themselves in the fibers or get wrapped around bra straps and such. They are quite evil.
Also, my signature outfit used to be shorts and slutty, short skirts but I think I am finally giving them up this year at the ripe old age of 35.
