Kim K's engaged. 20.5 carat ring...
Re: Kim K's engaged. 20.5 carat ring...
I think it's about as real as Khloe & Lamar.
She's marrying a dude that has the same name as her MOM.
Weird.
Here's peek of it on the People cover. It appears to go up to her knuckle.
Whatever ho, I'm not hatin! I don't even like 5 carat rings...but everything about Kim K is over the top so really I'm not surprised.
Honestly, could you really imagine going to the office and grocery shopping with a ring like that? It's ridiculous.
Haha. I was totally expecting a response like this.
Anything beyond that I think I would start feeling self conscious.
I love my ring (center stone is 1.3,) but that's not to say that I wouldn't rock a 2 or 3 carat ring.
She's a celebrity though so I guess it's expected? Maybe I wouldn't feel so out of place if I was Kim K? It's still obnoxiously big though.
Closer image. Center stone is 16.5. Total weight is 20.5. Just so not my style. Doesn't look as big as I would have thought though...Cost?? $2 mil
I'm actually really surprised that it doesn't look bigger in the pic than it does. Like I said, I guess if your Kim K it's expected and not as out of place. I still imagine that thing must be obnoxiously large on her finger in person though.
Personally, I like Khloe's ring better and it's half the size.
Lots of people have jobs in sports, modeling, tv...just because those jobs make more money than selling home made dog treats doesn't mean it's not work; I don't get the hate.
I have no problem with people speding their money on whatever the hell they want. And as long as they're not earning that money illegally, no reason to hate on that either.
I don't think anyone had a problem with that though, did they? I completely agree...spend your money on whatever makes you happy. I don't care if you made it, inherited it or won it.
Was anyone actually judging them for spending the money? Or were we just saying with thought it was a waste to spend that much on a ring we didn't think was that great?
Yeah, I should have edited. I saw that after I posted. Personally I would take a $500k ring...another $500k in shoes & purses & the other mil back in the bank. lol
ETA: I'm totally judging. You put it out there, I'm probably going to judge it.
