Northville, thunder, steady rain & a mini lake starting to form in our commons area.
Just looked at the radar from wunderground.com, and it's going to be this way for awhile.....just wished the Tigers could have gotten 5 innings in before the rain started.

Bloomfield Hills. It feels like its about 9:00 pm outside and it is raining like crazy. Lots of thunder and torrential downpours.
I'm worried to go home because we have had a slow leak in our roof for a while. DH put a bucket up there to catch the water until we replace the roof. I hope the bucket isn't filled!
As someone who works in roofing - get that checked out ASAP! If the water is damaging the wood you could be looking at MAJOR repairs. Can he get into the attic to check things out to see what's going on? There is something called 911 you can buy at roofing supply locations - it's a powder you pour on the hole and when water hits it - it solidifies. Its a temp fix but it's better than letting water continue to leak into your house.
I think he actually put that stuff on. He got up on the roof over the weekend and couldn't see anything. He goes into the attic occasionally to check things out and he said everything was fine. I know it's not fine when the roof is leaking, so we have someone coming out to look at it next week!
