Mz_Zane

I've been meaning to page you and your post below reminded me.

Do you do a lot of GF cooking, or do you buy most of your foods GF?

I have had like four cooking blogs pop up in my suggested Google Reader and I browsed them and they arent bad. I thought of you when I saw them but I wasnt sure what you're cooking vs buying of GF stuff is. I can pass them along to you if you are looking for new places for recipes.

Re: Mz_Zane

  • Oh wow, thanks! I'm always on the lookout for new recipes, so if you could pass them on to me that would be great!

I used to do a lot more GF cooking when I first started, mostly because stores didn't really carry GF stuff. Now its kind of a mix of both, but I still make GF bread and a lot of baking in general I do on my own. There are two big problems with buying pre-made GF stuff in that they're hit or miss if they're trying to be like something that isn't normally GF (really funky textures) and pricing, anything that is a "special dietary needs" product automatically goes up in price by a few $$.

  • I know my mom has a friend who buys her GF foods at some special online grocery store and she pays an arm and a leg! I figured for budget, you would try to make stuff but with Phoenix I wasnt sure how much you made on your own any more.

    This is what I have:

and this one I dont know how I feel about, its a mixed blog:
