So I didn't get the job, BUT the guy did say that I should reapply next year. The reason they didn't pick me is because the other candidate had more experience with students with cognitive disabilities, which is what their needs are looking like for the next school year.

At least I still have the job at the other school, but I'm still pretty bummed.

    Awww, I'm sorry honey.  But it's still awesome that you are now a full time teacher and have a job.  You should definitely reapply next year if you're still interested.

    It's got to make you feel good though that they would want to work with you in the future. I'm also glad you have the other job lined up, it might not be perfect but in this economy, a job is a job!

    Well it sounds like it must have gone well since they already asked you to reapply for next year. And you have the other job so that's a positive. But, I am sorry that you didn't get the job that you really wanted (this year anyway).
