Oprah - spoil for me

So did she give away houses and cars to the entire audience? I thought there would be talk about it on the radio or news, but there was nothing. All I heard was she had her dog and her final words were along the lines of 'When we meet again..."

  • 89X touched on it briefly this morning and said she cried.  That's about it.  Oh and that they believe she'll probably do the Barbra Walters deal where she'll do one on one interviews with people who are in the news.

  • I thought it was awful.

It was her basically giving a college style lecture on finding your truth, living with purpose and life lessons that she learned along the 25 years. She is so full of herself. She was gracious at some points thanking those guests that changed her life and sharing comments received from fans that changed her life. It was actually very boring to watch. I wish there had been more clips of awesome guests and less of her jabbering on.

  • She didn't give anything away.

I felt like I was in the church of Oprah for an hour...it was very preach-y. While I agreed with everything she was saying, it was kind of annoying to watch.

Yes! I don't think it should've taken her an hour to talk about the golden rule, making time for yourself and giving thanks to god. These are all basic concepts familiar to most people- nothing earth shattering.

I didn't watch it but heard about it. I'd be pretty ticked off if I finally got to go to her show, the FINAL show, and she doesn't give anything away. That is the only reason to be there.
