Accessorize This Dress!
Matt does this thing where he'll see something I wouldn't normally wear and say "ooh, try that on, you'll look good in it" and then he ends up loving it and I end up buying it and not knowing what the heck to do with it.

I plan to wear it to a wedding in two weeks. I just don't really know what to wear with it. I usually wear LBD's, so I have black shoes and sleek silver jewlery, but I think for this, I'll need something more earthy, and brown shoes of some kind.
I'm also going to sort of post and run since we have to run a few errands today. I'll check up on my phone though. Thanks so much ladies!

It's black and white, right? I wouldn't do brown shoes with it.
I think you could do a lot with it. Black shoes would obviously be fine, but if you want to add some interest, you could do a silver or gold metallic shoe or even a colored shoe like blue, purple, yellow, etc....and coordinate your accessories around that.

Bronze or even gold strappy sandals (Target must have some this time of year) would work.
As for accessories, go with either big dangly earrings or a chunky necklace, but not both. I'd leave either the ears or neck bare, to just add emphasis.

I think all the jewelry I posted was from F21....they have tons of cute gold/turquoise necklaces and earrings...hopefully you have one near you! But I'm sure turquoise jewelry would be easy enough to find this time of year anyway:) GL!

Agreed! if I had realized it was brown, I would have said turquoise too.
Sure sure Ames... :P I do love those red shoes though... I'm sure I could find something they would go with...
If you don't find anything turquoise that you like, you could always try accessorizing with pink, lilac or sage green. They pop less than turq but go well with brown.
I was thinking more along the lines of coral.
