Dear Obama
Congratulations. I hope you have the stamina and strength to move us in a positive direction. You mark an amazing change in American history and even though I do not back many of your plans, I do hope we can move past divisiveness and move towards sound fiscal policies and improved education. I look forward to being wrong as I recognize the hope and healing your being elected has afforded to my country, to my students and to the children I hope to one day have.

It's a historic night for the country. I sure hope he does a good job. I'll be honest and say that I am pessimistic because I don't expect him to abandon almost all of of his liberal policies. However, come January, I'll judge him by his actions just like any other president.
