any good camping sites? The last time I remember going camping I was about 9 (not very outdoorsy or nature loving now but don't mind it) and I remember we used to go to this campground that had a water park in it? don't remember what are it was or the name but we love water parks so would love to go back to that one.
My parents don't remember at all and they keep saying that we used always go to pleasanton (which I don't remember so lack of memory runs in the family).
if never heard of one like that, recommend a good one with showers (actual water coming down on my head, hate grabbing something to collect water or dive on a lake ITS NOT THE SAME!!!)
Thank you ![]()
Re: Do you know ...
Well, in Pleasanton there's Shadow Cliffs regional park with a waterslide but as far as I know you don't camp there.
Most actual campgrounds have showers (the few I've been to anyway).
Here's some info on it: http://www.ebparks.org/parks/shadow_cliffs
I agree that most campgrounds have showers.

nope it's closed. Wikipedia says it closed down due to financial reasons but I'm nto sure how 100% correct that site is.

The Manteca Waterslides closed awhile ago, it hasn't been open for camping in a long time. We've camped at Caswell, Lake Don Pedro, Boca Reservoir (up past Truckee), and Pinecrest. We've had friends camp at Lake McSwain and Lake McClure and they like those two spots alot.
thanks girls! will ck all those out.
Now the you mention it yeah it must've been the one in Manteca. Like I said its been a while since I've been there (20 years) bummer it closed I remember it was fuuunnnnn!!!
