1. How old were you when you met your DH? How old was he? I was 22, he was 24.
2. What is your favorite flower? I don't really have an absolute fav, but I like lilies and roses.
3. What is your favorite movie? My Best Friend's Wedding.
4. Who is your favorite actor/actress? Julia Roberts has been my favorite for a long time, but I'm a big fan of Kate Hudson too. I am in love with Matthew McConaughey.
5. If you could have any pet, what would it be? I have always wanted a golden retriever puppy. I think they are adorable when little, and pretty dogs adults.
6. What phobia(s) do you have? I'm TERRIFIED of needles.....it usually takes several minutes (read 5-10) to get shots. I also don't like knoves - I cut myself badly as a kid with my brothers pocket knife, and always freak out when people aren't careful with them. I also have a mild phobia of tornadoes.
7. Have any nicknames? (Other than pet names from DH). How did you get it? My college friends all call me Sterl (hence my SN.) Basically, my friend Dawn and I were drunk one night, and she was putting my number in her new phone. The next morning, she came into my room and was like "Is this your number?" She had put in Sterl. She decided while drunk that "Steph" was too many letters...
8. What is one thing you'd like to splurge on and buy for yourself? I really want to buy a Kindle, but I'm thinking DH may get me that for our anniversary. I really want to buy a nice flat iron for my hair. The one I have is old and ready to die.
9. What is one upcoming event/thing you are excited about? DH and I have Cubs/Cards tickets to celebrate our anniversary. (We are celebrating a little early because of his work schedule). We are staying in a nice hotel, going to a fancy dinner, etc.
10. Are you named after anyone? Nope. My brothers both are (older bro is named after 2 great-grandfathers - first and middle name. Little bro shares a middle name with my dad and his dad.) I am named Stephanie Ann because out of the several names my mom liked, it's the only one my dad liked...No wonder I'm a daddy's girl.

I am also a Stephanie, and Anne is my confirmation name, but through it was funny that we had almost identical names! (I do have a middle name in between them, so it's Stephanie [name] Anne)

9. What is one upcoming event/thing you are excited about? Summer!!!! 3 more weeks! I'm a teacher, so I still get summer breaks. This year I need it desperately!

A cute little puppy. I've having serious dog wants lately but idk what type yet. Of course i have to get my allergies under wraps before that could EVER happen. And it has to get along w/ cats!

Heights, i just cant do it. I even get vertigo looking down a flight of stairs! I also hate bugs/spdiers/etc, especially if they are on/near me. I don't think its a phobia, i just HATE them! And losing my mom/sisters/ziggy, i was never very afraid of that until i lost my dad

Aside from the obvious: Kim and Kimmy...Meemee/Meemer/Meem - my little sister couldn't say Kimmy when she was a baby so it became Meemee (spelling and all) so it just stuck. My dad also used to call me Wheezer because i had asthama as a kid haha. He also used to call me Sweetie Pi(but w/ math symbol) or Sweetie 3.14
Sometimes Ziggy calls me p-poop.One time i told him he was acting like a poop and he swears i stuttered in the beginning of the word but i DID NOT! So now he calls me that and it really bugs me each time. He can't hear!
8. What is one thing you'd like to splurge on and buy for yourself?
I would love to buy us wood floors for our house. Or even better, buy our house from the mortgage company. haha. But there's no money for either of those right now!

When I was about 4, a snake in our backyard slithered over my feet. I stood there frozen in fear. Needless to say, I hate snakes.
7. Have any nicknames? (Other than pet names from DH). How did you get it? Everyone used to call me Ronee until I was about 13 or so. Most of my family still does. Now, people who know me as Veronica often just call me V for short. I guess Veronica takes too long to say.

A new camera. I really, really, really want a nice digital pro/am camera.

Just the summer in general. It is my absolute favorite time of year. Fairs and rodeos and horse shows, oh my!

Not really. An older distant cousin of mine is Veronica. My mom thought it was a beautiful name.

8. What is one thing you'd like to splurge on and buy for yourself? My savings account! I spent several hours yesterday categorizing all of our expenses from the last year, and it was horrifying. We're on a spending freeze.
