A day early, but I know some of you ladies have off tomorrow, so anyone doing anything exciting?
We are off to the cottage today till Monday! It doesn't look like that good of weather though, they have been getting rain, rain and more rain. Hopefully it stops.
Re: Weekend Plans?
I'm pretty excited about this weekend but that could be because I am full of energy right now as opposed to when I get home at the end of the day when I am sooo tired and achey.
Friday - returns/exchanges at BBB we will be getting our Mattress for the nursery and swaddles that we didn't get (after taking back like a bazillion receiving blankets not on the registry)
Saturday - various errands while DH is out, really hoping to get to the Market downtown, help my sister toss some garbage from her currently flooded basement, yard work, light cleaning of the nursery, then BRU for round two of returns so we can get our 'baby' gates and various other items.
Sunday - church, Lunch with some local nesties, then nursery painting Yay
Monday - my girfriend and my Godson are coming for a visit Yay again
Almost everyone is going to be out of the office tomorrow, which should make it easy to get some things done. If past years have been any indication, we'll close around 3. Things get nuts around our office since we're so close to the track and tomorrow is carb day.
I'm heading into Chicago to see my parents on Saturday morning. Drew will be swamped with client stuff at the track all weekend so I'll bring Loki with me. Honestly, I'm always relieved that I have somewhere other than Indy to be during the 500. Plus, I think it's nice that I get some time with my parents on my own. I'm sure there will be some shopping involved. I get to work through the design plan I've started for their house- my mom asked for some design advice, I'm so excited! And then we'll go to the parade on Monday before I head home.

other than that, nothing really! justin has a 4 day weekend, so i'm hoping to get caught up on some sleep! We may have a little cookout with our friends at some point, but nothing set in stone.
HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo! What part of Chicago??
I'm doing nothing but sleeping, and sleeping some more

My friend is being induced right at this moment so I'm sure I'll hang out with them a little tomorrow night.
Saturday (if it stops raining), I am going to go to the farmer's market and to a nursery out in the sticks to gets some flowers. I have GOT to work on my yard.
Sunday, I am going to my BFF's son's 1st birthday party. They live out of town so I can't wait to see them.
Monday, I will laze by the pool all day.
Friday - working all day and my parents are coming down. We are going out to dinner and I am going to surprise them with a cake for their anniversary (37 years yesterday).
Saturday - mom and I are going to get pedis, then we are going to hang out and have a few friends over for a small cookout.
Sunday - might go to one of the casinos, then home to relax. My parents will head home to miss the traffic on Monday.
Monday - DH is marching in a parade in a town 90 minutes from our house. So I will have a good part of the day home alone to relax.
Out in the burbs- Geneva.

I'm hanging out with my husband, and my baby.
We'll prob grill hot dogs and some corn on the cob one night this weekend. Mmmm. And we'll probably go on a walk around the block with Felicity one evening.

The only set plans are Sunday helping BIL and his gf move into their new house.
I hope i can fit in a quick meetup with my cousin(my MOH) who I just found out is coming to town. Her mom called last night to set up a brunch with the whole famy on Sunday. The only day I have plans of course. So hopefully she can maybe do coffee or something on Sat or Mon. She just got done with a month long writing residency in the Adirondacks and she lives in NYC so I don't get to see her much. Every time she has come to town recently I have already had plans (though every time she has given just a few days notice that she is coming. Every time I have had plans made at least a week in advance). Her family is always last min planners so I shouldn't be surprised, but it's frustrating to not be able to see her when she is in town.

That's only about 45 minutes or so from me.
Tomorrow: Bedrest. My mom is coming to hang out with me in the afternoon. I'm hoping that she'll watch the puppy a little for me.
Saturday: My brother and sister's graduation. I'm going to cry, I just know it.
Sunday: Taking it easy still and hopefully working with the puppy.
Monday: Same as Sunday. I'd like to do something with some friends at some point. I feel like such a hermit lately and I'm finally starting to feel ok after all of the meds that I've been on.
