What's the standard gift expectation here?
(And, yes, I know I can do whatever I want/can afford, etc.)
We got 2 graduation announcements - one for DH's cousin's daughter, who I've never met, but her parents came to my wedding and the mom came to my bridal and baby shower (and brought gifts) and we exchange Christmas cards.
We also got another one for one of DH's college friend's daughter. We haven't seen them in a while, but they were pretty close at one time.
Is $100 about right for both?
I got like $25 for my high school graduation, but that was 20 years ago.

$100 is very generous IMO. I'd go with $50 or $75 each considering how well you know these kids.

I agree on the $50 gift for each. It sounds like you barely know these kids and don't have a relationship with either one.
My niece is graduating this week and $100+ is more like what I'd give her, not a more distant relative or friend.
