Shampoo/conditioner recs

I need a new shampoo and conditioner to add to my rotation and I'm curious what everyone else likes and what type of hair that you have.

I really like Biolage Volumatherapie but I need to rotate ones and I'm replacing Fekkai for a change.

Re: Shampoo/conditioner recs

  • Do you need it for volume?

I really like the Eufora line.  I have very fine hair, and Eufora products work great for me.  I actually use the moisturizing shampoo since I don't use conditioner.

  • Keeping an eye on this thread...I am always looking for a good volumizing shampoo, preferably sulfate-free. I did recently buy the Everpure rosemary mint bodifying conditioner, which I like.

  • My hair is long and tends to get dry.  I used to use Paul Mitchell and Biolage, but I found Nature's Gate Nourishing Hemp shampoo and conditioner and I love it!  It costs less than what I spent before (it's about $7), and it makes my hair shiny and healthy.  It smells great, too.

  • Pureology was going to be my rec, I love it!
  • Kerastase.  Since using it I can go a few extra weeks in between color/highlights.

  • I'm pretty cheap on shampoo and conditioner, so I use the L'Oreal EverPure line. It's sulfate free and I have to say I've noticed my hear is so much healthier since I made the switch. Okay, not blow drying it every day probably helps :)
  • My all-time fave shampoo was Bumble and bumble's thickening shampoo and conditioner.  It's pricey but a little goes a long way (seriously, dime sized amount.  No more.)    I miss it.  Is it bad that I want to rework our budget so I can justify buying it lol?

Not sure if its sulfate free though - probably not, as sulfate free shampoo doesn't do well with my hair.

  • I rotate between Infusium 23 and Suave. I have long hair with highlights and lowlights.

Good to know.  I saw this on Sephora's site and wondered how it was.
