its a good thing...I think? My current boss is a real jerk and being that I am restricted at work (no prisoner contact, cant drive a car) I am not supposed to be the first point of contact when you walk in the building but he doesnt want to put me to work so all I am allowed to do is answer the phones. Its boring but we have wifi. I recently asked him if I would be able to work mon-fri since thats what my H works, I have 3-4 weddings this summer obviously all on the weekends and I wouldnt have to take off for them and just because everyone else who is restricted works mon-fri. He shot me down without an explanation and Ive been giving him the silent treatment ever since.
Well luckily since I am restricted I am put into a pool with all the other restricted misfits and we can get transferred as per needs of the dept.
So as of tuesday I will be working in Chelsea! I cant actually believe it. Now Ive been hoping this would come thru but not mentally prepared so Ive been freaking out that (a) I dont fit in, in nyc (b) my commute (c) what will I be allowed to wear clothing wise. Yikes!
Re: Im getting transferred
Always missing my Mommy (1954-2010) and Daddy (1943-2012)
TTC since 2009 ; BFP 9/13/10 = MC 10/21/10
DX = DOR/POA (AMH=1.1; AFC=4-5)
Surprise BFP 8/31/11 while waiting to cycle for IVF
