Are they busy? How are the prices for things not included in the $1000 membership like food and drinks? What about the people? It it a bunch of d-bags, hipsters, a mixed bag? It's too far from East Falls, and still too expensive, for me to ever consider joining but I'm all sorts of curious.
On a side note, my central air felt great yesterday when I got home from work.

there are people there but its not packed. plenty of chairs and bar space. no one uses the cabanas yet. those are silly pricey.

food and drinks are not outrageous and you in no way have to order food or drinks to be there. they have some hh and phillies game specials.
there is a gift shop with fancy sunblocks and stuf fthat is expensive. they have free games and rentals and stuff.
What about the people? It it a bunch of d-bags, hipsters, a mixed bag?
yes, it is full of complete assssholes and that is why i think its wonderful? what a silly question. the people are mostly under 40 over 25. mixed races and shapes, though more athletic types than non.
hipsters? i dont know. everyone is in a bathing suit.
Can you bring in outside food and drinks? I don't think the question about the type of people there was silly. You bought the membership before they opened so for all you knew the main demographic could have been d-bags, right?
I'm glad to hear you love it! I was very skeptical a place like that could be successful.
i've seen people with water bottles and gatorades and stuff, but i dont know if you can bring food or drink.
the people i've talked to so far are nice. we chatted about the phillies. they have tv's by the bar that play the game.

I'm so jealous SD. It doesn't make sense for me to join but I love this idea and was excited when I first read about.
Though I'm surprised you pay for food/drinks. I can't remember about food but I know drinks are free at Lombard Swim Club.
its really wonderful and is the same price as lombard - which doesnt have open spots anyway.
lombard is much bigger and allows kids, but arrow is more vegas style pool side club than swim lap pool.
I know that Lombard has complimentary coffee water and tea, but not food and booze.
arrow has free water and ice pops. and member cocktail parties once a month with free food and drink.
1000? *fainting* there can't be THAT many hipsters, they can't afford that shiz on their bartending salaries lolz
