Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I DD'ed
I deleted my post that turned into a rant about one of my students. I decided there was too much info about his family for the public internet. I just wanted to be careful and delete it even though no name was used.
Marcy - thank you for your response. I don't really think I'm amazing. It just honestly makes me realize how incredibly fortunate I was to grow up in the loving home with 2 parents. My dad travelled a lot but he was at everything we did that he could be at. I never felt slighted. I can't imagine what some of my kids go through. They are alone and that makes my heart hurt.
I'm trying to figure out where I would start to open a boys home or a mentoring program - something. I'm to the point where I don't feel like teaching is enough for me anymore.
