D&R is all abuzz about this site and I resisted for a long time, but oh my is it addicting. I've been slowly going through all my bookmarks and pinning things - it's amazing how much nicer things are once organized. If anyone wants an invite, let me know. It will be dangerous once I start following other folks. I don't even make it through my Google Reader each week. Although I like the quick visuals of pinterest a lot since you can always click through to see more.
Does anyone here use it, I am curious about what you think.

It's like a bulletin board, but when you "pin" something you select a picture and it keeps the link for you. So, instead of mosaicking the refrigerator with recipes we like that I've tried, I can just save them there. Or, instead of clogging up my bookmarks on my browser, this keeps them all in one place.
It is also nice to know what other people with similar interests are doing. For example, I don't know anyone IRL who quilts with any regularity but I've done half a dozen since teaching myself in the fall.

ps why does it have to be by invite? Just curious and haven't looked anything up on besides what I've seen on this thread
I sent you an evite. I think it's sort of like when gmail first came out. Personally I think it is annoying, but maybe it really helps build buzz.
