Holiday weekend!
What do you all have planned for this weekend? Anything fun?

Re: Holiday weekend!
I think my husband is entering a state of depression because we can't do anything fun this weekend.
We always spend Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, and Labor Day (along with other random summer weekends) at the lake. Obviously, considering the fact that I could go into labor any day, that's out of the question.
So we'll be installing a car seat (should've already done), packing our hospital bags (should also be done already!), and trying to get the house in order...just in case!
Therefore, I need you all to have enough fun for us, too!

Aw, I am sure you'll still have a nice weekend. Just remind your DH that next summer the baby will be old enough to be able to go to the lake and play with.
Oh, he'll be fine! He knows it's for a good cause...just will miss the time with our friends. I guess the idea of it is just less appealing for me, since I have no desire to be at the lake in my condition. Ha!

Tonight we're going over to my Dad's house to hang out and 'celebrate' bulk trash day with him lol, and I think my sister is going to be there which I am looking forward to; it's been a while since I've seen my Dad or her.
Tomorrow I plan to clean the apartment a bit and Jason asked me to go shopping with him. He has a coupon for $25.00 off a purchase of $75.00 or more at a clothes store he likes, and for whatever reason he asked me if I'd go with him (the store is less than a mile from our house), I guess he wants my opinion on stuff, it's kind of cute.
Sunday my best guy friend (who I haven't seen since February!), a friend of his, and his new pup are coming to hang out. I think we'll end up going over to my Mom's house to get in her pool since it's supposed to be in the 90's and maybe do a little cookout, then afterwards just hang out at our apartment and play Wii.
Jason has to work Monday but I have off, so I'll most likely spend the day hanging out with my friends...woohoo!
I don't blame ya one bit! My BFF is 30 weeks pregnant and I know the last thing she feels like doing is being out in the hot weather especially around people who are partying.
This afternoon, a group of teachers and I are going to BWs to celebrate the last day of school, it's a little tradition we have. I can't REALLY celebrate because I still have a 40 mile drive home afterwards. I have to have one drink though because I think some of my coworkers think I am pregnant, so I need to quietly dispel that rumor.
Other than that, I'll be doing the same thing I did last weekend, working in the yard while DH has games. We do have a picnic with his family on Monday and thankfully he is off that day so I don't have to go alone!
I work until 2 today and then I'm heading home to do laundry (yay-not). Then I'm getting in a run and shower and meeting my mom to go see Bridesmaids!
Tomorrow a good friend of mine and his wife are getting ordained into the Lutheran church which should be really cool to see. In the afternoon DH and I are hoping to go on a hike or something active.
Sunday I really want to wash my car so we may go to my parents and make use of their driveway and hose to do it. Then sunday night we have my brothers birthday dinner.
Monday I may do a memorial day race that's 4 miles and local. Depends if my parents do it. DH has said he will not move or function to do anything except play xbox... soooo I'll probably keep busy with food prep for the week, watching stuff on the DVR and relaxing.

We have no plans and I'm severly annoyed at this. Dance class #2 tonight, and that's it. How sad.
I may go to the beach real early tomorrow with my momma. I need some color. And I may go to my brother's house Sunday to party. Ugh. I'm so mad we have no real plans!
Tonight were going to a jazz concert, It's a guy who works with the hubby, Super excited to go love me some good jazz!
Saturday I work till 4, after that were going out with my dad and step-mom for sushi for my dads birthday which is monday!
Sunday, washing the cars it better not rain again like last time. maybe go over to a friends house to play games.
Monday I'm off yay!! i think i'll be lazy who knows, maybe will go down to the pool.
We've been on vacation since Wednesday, and I don't go back to work until Wednesday (he goes back Thursday, but I have to fly to DC that day, so I needed to go back earlier), so we're alternating being lazy and actually doing things. Yesterday, we went to the outlets in Kittery, and stopped at Redhook for lunch. We're going to a PawSox game tomorrow night, and I think we're going to go see Bridesmaids on Sunday, followed by beers & dinner. No picnics or anything planned, but our landlord said we can use his grill, so we may take him up on that. I think on Tuesday we're finally going to go on a Sam Adams tour/tasting.
And there's plenty of cleaning/organizing to do here. I finally dug out my summer clothes - we haven't needed them until this week - so I have a gazillion loads of laundry to do. And our apartment needs a serious cleaning, so I'm taking that a room at a time.
Tomorrow night me and my bestie are going see the Philharmonic Orchestra perform a tribute to Michael Jackson. OH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think me and the hubbs are also going to shop for a new mattress. Fingers crossed we get one!
Just want to say that I will be forever jealous if you do!

Tonight after work DH and I are hitting the gym and then relaxing for the night.
Saturday- we're heading down to CT to have a picnic with my dads side of the family. Which I'm super excited about, I haven't seen them since christmas. Afterwards Papa gets to have a puppy party, MIL has 2 dogs, and BIL just adopted a younger dog. So that'll be a lotta fun.
Sunday- We're heading home, and taking Papa to obedience class. But I think that's about it. My SIL and her BF may come up to visit and stay the night.
Monday- We may go visit the dog that Dave has been BEGGING me about adopting. But a 75lb dog on top of the 60lb lug we have now would be a lot. So I told him we can look into fostering. Either way Papa gets to play some more. Seriously this dog gets to have a better time then me.
Is this the one you posted about a week or two ago? The boxer/pit mix?

Yeah, I feel terrible since he's still up for adoption. The officer who's been training him has been bugging Dave about adopting him. lol. Which isn't helping the case. But I'll foster him so he can at least get socialized, instead of being alone in a kennel. We just have to find out if he'll be ok around Papa.
You're a good person! I hope they get along well and you're able to house him temporarily

Our long weekend in Canada was last weekend, so I'll have to work Monday
Chris is away with cadets this weekend, so I plan on hanging with the dog and cat and hopefully getting some yard work done if the rain ever stops! If not, I'll clean the house and cook him a nice dinner on Sunday.
