Holy anti-climactic resignation Batman!
I was close to having a panic attack over submitting my resignation this morning. It turned out to be completely uneventful.
Me (after discussing an upcoming hearing for a minute): There's one other thing.
Him: Yeah?
Me: I'm leaving.
Him: Oh, okay cool.
Me: I mean, permanently.
Him: Ohhh okay. I kind of figured you would. It's a long commute and you have a lot of marketable skills.
The he babbled for a minute about the transition and that was it.
