Weekend Plans ~ Memorial Day edition
Sorry for the delay! I had to spend the night at my mom's with Samma because the house was infested with swarming flying carpenter ants.... yuck. So here I am, posting and running...
Today: showering, then going to my intake appointment for therapy(!), and while I'm there Chris is watching Samma whiule the exterminator man looks around the house. After I will be spending the evening cleaning. Oddly looking forward to this.
Saturday: More cleaning and straightening up of the house because..... *drumroll*...
Sunday: MEATMORIAL DAY!!! We're having at least 30 people over while we smoke, fry and grill various meats in honor of Memorial Day. Guests are bringing the apps and desserts, and we're going to be drinking the day and night away! It will be epic...
Monday: recouping, cleaning up, and maybe even going to see BridesMaids with my sister and some friends. We'll see how I feeeeellll.....

Re: Weekend Plans ~ Memorial Day edition
Today: baking choc chip cookies and muffins, prepping a bunhc of our food to take camping. Finish packing, then heading up to the mountains of WY for the weekend!
Friday Night - Sunday: praying the rain stays away so we can get plenty of hiking, climbing, and R&R in. Lots of eating, playing with all the kiddos that will be there. Lots of drinking.
Monday: getting back in town, unpacking, cleaning up. BBQing for just the two of us.
today: probably leaving early because we didnt have electricity this AM and i need to go home and see if we have it yet. if not, then i need to go up to my parents to take a shower. which will be a treat because my parents town is in a state of emergency because the highways are closed due to rock and land slides. once i get showered and dressed, rehearsal dinner for the wedding im in tomorrow.
saturday: friends wedding.
sunday: we're staying over saturday night so coming home, no plans for sunday but i need to take my mom shopping for her birthday gift (she wants new sneakers).
monday: picnic at ILs
tuesday: im taking off for my mom's birthday and she, my dad, my nana, and i are going to the animal park.
ETA: i forgot, we do have plans sunday. wine festival! pending how i feel from the wedding festivities.
Today: Last day at school!
Saturday: mani/pedi and baby shower
Sunday: probably nothing
Monday: MY BIRTHDAY!!!! My requests are lounging by a pool, a pina colada, and coconut shrimp.
DH and I are both home today and tomorrow. It's the first time we've been off work together since the 14th. We're planning to clean the house, mow the yard if it ever stops raining, and enjoy each other's company.
Sunday: working 8 extra hours for fat cash
Monday: working for even fatter cash :-D

Today: I'm DONE watching my friend's stupid a-hole cats! Picking up friend and her hubby from the airport then taking them for dinner/drinks to help them forget they're back from their honeymoon
Tomorrow: I'm DONE watching my parents bad dog!! Major yard work since the storms this week ruined it, then picking my parents up from the airport at 4. Dinner with them afterwards, then going to see bridesmaids w/ my friend A while CB's at a bachelor party
Sunday: enjoying my first full pet-sitting free day! House cleaning, brunch w/ CB, then probably going to see Hangover II and dinner w/ CB later in the evening.
Monday: opening the pool! then over CB's parents for a cookout.
Friday: run to Joanns for their memorial day weekend sale, try to find the suitcase my mom wants for her birthday at TJMaxx and/or Marshalls (luckily near Joann's), grocery store, bake mom's birthday cake, pack. Buy mom's gift online if I can't find it in a store.
Saturday: head to the beach, stopping at my parents' house to drop off Pansy since we don't want her and the bat to be alone in the house together. Go to dinner and the theater.
Sunday: not sure- mom's birthday party maybe. Sit on the beach, definitely.
Monday: see Sunday.

Today: Half day at work, meeting Patrick for lunch at this Irish place with yummy Reubens, going to the library to return books and stock up on weekend reading, bake banana bread, run, pick up my sister
Tomorrow: Going to my parent's for a cookout, finish sanding and painting the basement ceiling, come up with a plan to organize our basement/office area
Sunday - Tuesday: finish sanding/painting, organizing, do our monthly cleaning of the whole house, read books, play video games, finish setting up my blog, just chill at home for my 4.5 day weekend!!!
Today: Working until 1 - then swinging by Stop and Shop to see if they have hydrangeas...then stopping at my grandparents grave because I've been thinking of them a lot lately...and hopefully leaving some hydrangeas....then checking "go to the movies alone" off my day zero list - going to see Something Borrowed, and then home to clean, do more grocery shopping, etc, bake desserts....
Tomorrow: Hosting a Memorial Day weekend cookout
Sunday: Up in the air depending upon what kind of shape we're in after hosting the cookout - may pop by MB's epic MeatMemorial, go to the driving range, have some Coldstone, go to Castle Island? The possibilities are endless as long as Saturday nights festivities don't end with a hangover.
Monday: Breakfast with a friend in the AM, hopefully she'll help me figure out my future....and then Outlet shopping with my MOH
So happy that it's the long weekend!
Today: Get out of work at 2. Maybe do some clothes shopping. I am seriously in need of new t-shirts!
Tomorrow: BBQ at my parents house with the extended family. Very excited since I haven't seen most of them since Christmas.
Sunday: Clean the inside of my car. That is my goal. It.needs.to.get.done. I have to stop procrastinating. Clean house and maybe see reggae band & get some drinks that night.
Monday: No plans. H is working
Today - I'm thinking of getting out of here at 1 and then I have to go to the post office and then to get a present for a 2 year old and to Barnes & Noble to grab something for Jon and then to Old Navy, Kohls and Target to find some cute, flowy skirts to live in this summer.
Tonight, I don't think we're doing anything particular. Maybe somewhere to watch the Bruins game.
Saturday - gym, then down to RI to get Caserta's pizza and visit with my mom who might have torn her meniscus. Then to my best friend's 2 year old's birthday party.
Sunday - I have a bunch of house things I want to get done including cleaning out my closet and cleaning the guest bedroom (my BIL is apparently staying with us next week while he's in town for a conference). And then that night we're going to see a play in the South End.
Monday - ...I got nothing. we have to plan our Niagara/Toronto trip, so this would be a good day to sit down and figure all that out.
Today: Hopefully having a baby.
Tomorrow: If I haven't had the baby yet...having a baby!

Monday: See above.
I cant even express how happy I am that its a 3 day weekend.
Tonight: grilling and going to be early.
Tomorrow: finish painting Olive's room, hair cut, back to painting, organizing stuff in there, etc. Cleaning my disgusting house.
Sunday: probably home bound since Jesse is replacing my brakes himself. This will be an all day project. Hopefully he wont want to cook because I'm dying to go to this little bar/restaurant on the river.
Monday: probably nothing. I love it.
