AW--yes, I know it's not Thursday.

I don't need any responses but several of you know that I was recently told that I would not be going back to the middle school I've been traveling to since my second year of teaching.  This morning I found out I will be going back.  I'm so very excited!!!!  My schedule is going to be crazy next year!

I might have a slight emoticon addiction.  Speaking of emoticon addictions, where's Summer?

Her ILs came in town yesterday.  She might be on entertainment duty.

Thanks, ladies.  I've felt more at home and welcome at that campus than at my home one for many years.

  • Yeah!  What exciting news!  Glad it all worked out

    Oh yeah.

  • That's awesome! Middle School ROCKS!  I actually didn't realize you taught middle school.  I remember when our paths briefly crossed on TK you were a high school (I want to say Latin???) teacher.

  • Congrats Julie! I know how down you were a few weeks back when you heard otherwise. I'm so glad this worked out for you. And here I thought I was going to open this up and see something about you buying that Diet Coke ;)

I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Yes, I do both actually.  I've had a middle school class since my second year and added an early one several years ago for the other three middle schools in the district.

I love middle school because they still generally want to please you and will still act goofy too.

Actually, I had to take my other sister in law and her fiance to the airport this morning super early. They're going to Mexico for the weekend. So, when I got back home I went back to bed for a while and just woke about an hour ago.

I still have my sub binder so I can't AW about that until next week.  Unless I just feel that it's really important and that you all need to know it.
