Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Cornbread
Does anyone cheat like me and use the Jiffy box mix? If so, have you added anything to it to jazz it up a bit? I've been wanting to add a can of creamed corn to it, just haven't tried it yet...

I've added creamed corn...
H has also added jalapenos before and served it with a chipotle spread (buy the little cans, deseed the suckers, mix w/ light sour cream)
If you add creamed corn, just use less water. Depending on what I am serving with, I may also add a little sugar, cinammon, jalapenos.
No matter what recipe I use, my cornbread never tastes as good as my grandmother's so I have given up and use Jiffy.
