My general doc just diagnosed me with it. Never had any issues until my last 2wks of being pregnant with Mj. whatever cream he gave me is not working. I can only use a little because I'm pumping.
I get so itchy my skin is raw/bleeding from my scratching and I continue to have my nails cut short to reduce the damage. My issues is that I can not feel when I'm scratching, it's like the skin is numb. No matter how hard I scratch I can't feel it. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue as well?

Re: s/o eczema.
I get patches of eczema mostly on my cheeks and an occasional patch on my belly/arm/leg. I agree with the "numbness" feeling.
I know everyone uses all these prescription creams and hydrocortisone and stuff, I have always just increased my use of Cetaphil and it has worked awesome. K has really bad eczema on her legs, back and neck and it has worked great on her too.
Maybe its something to give a try while you are BF?
YES. That's exactly my problem too. I've never had eczema in my life, and it showed up a few weeks after giving birth to A. I'm convinced it had something to do with my pregnancy. The latest prescription cream the Derm gave me isn't working either. I just made an appt. with a new derm for june 6th and I'm dying here having to wait that long.
It's on my fingers and when I touch soap it stings and burns sooooo badly. I dread taking showers now.
