Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I don't like this...
I switched browsers today and don't have my little "Oct 08" bookmark on my toolbar, so I had to go to thenest.com and get here the long way so I could bookmark it again.
Well, when I found the list of wedding month boards, I noticed that some had closed folders beside them. I assumed it just meant no recent posts or something. Anyway, so I then noticed that Nov 08 board had twice the post as we did and that made me curious if they were still really active. I clicked it on and got an error - their board was closed!
THEN I I realized that a "closed folder" icon beside a board names means just that - closed. Lots of them around us are closed now (Sept 08 is still alive) but this makes me REALLY sad and a little scared.

Yeah I don't want the board to die down either though recent events have forced me to limit some items to FB I know I will post more soon here because it's just easier for me during work ours.
I know someone who actually just had a GTG with her anniversary board (may have been Sept 08) that made me feel better.

That doesn't make much sense unless initially they had a lot of activity and back when they decided to close traffic had slowed down.
We're not the most active board, but we still have daily postings.

Pssht, they don't email moderators about ANYTHING. They did a little more back when it was actually 2008 and we were the "current" board, but I haven't heard from them in a looooong time.
I did email Knot Annie after I posted this last night and requested that they keep this board live because there are several of us that check in at least once a day or so.
