My lilac bush will NOT blossom.
We have a very large (~8ft tall) lilac bush that is full and lush with leaves. However, it has not blossomed fully since we moved in. The first spring we were here, it had a few blossoms, but that's about it.
I don't think that it is a frost problem because there are others on our road that are blossoming, and their owners didn't cover them or anything of that nature.
Should I be doing something to them?

Re: My lilac bush will NOT blossom.
Do you prune it? If not, now is a good time.
What is the soil like?
Have your soil tested from near the bush. If it's lacking in minerals, it will certainly not want to flower. You could try calling a local university to see if they can do it for you, or call up the larger hardware stores and talk to their lawn and garden manager, they may have a do it yourself kit. Or you could just go pick up some Miracle Gro and see what that does
Also, full sun. Lilacs not happy in shade.
