Even if I was a Dem, I would be happy
that there is not a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. ?When one party controls both the executive and legislative branches, there needs to be some check on power. ?Politicians with power use it, and when possible they tend to use it to trample on the rights of others.?
I would say the same thing if there was a GOP president and the GOP had control of the legislature. ?The last thing we need is a filibuster-proof majority.?

Yup! I agree.
There seems to be enough of a majority to get things done--but enough opposition to keep it from getting out of control.
I think that's good whatever party is in charge..
