Anyone in Hendersonville Area?

My family had a summer house there for many years and DH and I are heading up that way for a wedding next week. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on great restaurants or things to do...we are bringing our 2 year old so kid friendly activities are awesome :).

We haven't been back that way in 2 years or so, but we'll definitely do one dinner at Poplar Lodge and we're planning on heading to Chimney Rock and probably Grandfather Mountain as well. I do not think we will head as far as Asheville this trip as we just want to relax and enjoy some hopefully slightly cooler weather than here at home in Fla. Thanks so much for any ideas@

  • I am from Tryon, about 15 minutes away.  Quaint little town with great food.  Check out Side Street Pizza (great local pizza place) or Caro-Mi (family style dining).  Also, Bradley falls and Pearson falls between Tryon and Hendersonville are great places for a picnic and/or hiking.
