I realize it's a long weekend for most, but hey, I'm here at work, so good morning! I figure at least Les will be up by now. :P
We went out on Friday night and drank far too many beers with my coworkers/friends most of Saturday was spent recovering. Then Derek was up on the roof fixing the leaky skylight.
Yesterday we had dinner at my mom's, which was nice. They've got a great patio, so it was nice to lounge outside.
And now, back to work. The guy it here trouble-shooting the A/C for our area, so hopefully it's finally fixed by today. If it's not, I shall be cranky.
How was everyone's weekend? Any fun plans for today?
Re: Gooood Morning!
Good Morning, I'm grounded to the couch until my birthday (thursday) to help with healing. That and there's a balloon in my ute attached to a bag on my thigh that isn't really portable or fashionable
.
On the plus side, I have some awesome drugs, and have some great netflix films to entertain me.
Good morning!
The Lion King last night was fantastic! We had a really good time. This was my third time seeing it, I think, but I can never get enough of this show.
Also, we bought a barbeque last week and I am so, so in love with it. It actually has a hookup to our natural gas line so no propane tanks to deal with, which is amazing. I had forgotten how awesome it is to have a bbq... I think we'll be grilling at least once a week this summer.
6 weeks of work left. Holy.Moly.

Awesome on both accounts!
I'm off, so I actually have some time to check in today! Last week was insane, so this weekend was welcome relief. We went to a wedding in Maine for a family friend this weekend...drove up Friday night, spent Saturday hanging out with my parents, then the wedding Saturday evening was beautiful. We came home yesterday.
Today I am finally feeling less sick than I was all last week, so I was all excited to get a run in...but now my treadmill isn't working. I am trying not to cry (I realize that it is stupid) but all I have wanted to do the last week is get in a run and catch up on my DVR. I guess I will try outside and hope that the thunderstorms hold off...Ed is home, so I'll just stay close and he can hop in the car and come get me if the weather looks bad. Edit: Ed fixed my treadmill so I was able to get in 3 miles! Feeling so much more relaxed! Now off to grocery shop!
Other than that, this should be a quieter week....thank goodness. My first appointment is Wednesday, but otherwise it is just school as usual.

Hello ladies. We're off here as well, so just enjoying a quiet day at home. Caught up on some DVR this morning, uploaded some of our travel pics, and about to start cooking dinner. Really need to make some more progress on our taxes too.
We've had a great weekend up to now too. DH got home from a 10-day business trip on Saturday. Then we headed up to Cambridge for a day. Such a gorgeous city and we loved just wandering around and touring along the river. I have a lot going on over the next week, so I'm thankful for the day off today.

Morning! We are just getting ready to start back in on the sorting/tagging/purging of 75 years worth of my parent's stuff for the late summer epic yard sale. We worked for two hours yesterday and took five boxes of stuff out of the kitchen. Needless to say, we aren't going to get everything ready, but we should make a dent.
Tonight, we are going out to dinner with friends of mine and going to bed early since we have to get up and head to the airport at 4:00 a.m. to catch our flight home.

Morning, all. The H and I are recovering from a few too many vodka tonics last night. Ah, well. At least we have the day off!
The weekend was fun--Saturday we had a six-hour long meeting, but it was about books, so I can't complain. That night we had dinner with friends of ours, and ended up going to Dave & Buster's for a while. We had fun, especially playing trivia. Yesterday was more of a chore kind of day. No plans for today, but that's probably for the best.
Morning all. I've been swamped at work the past week and it's going to continue for at least this week, if not longer. I'm hopeful that once the second quarter is over, the remainder of the summer will be a bit more low key as far as work goes.
Overall, the weekend was a good one. A friend of mine from college was in town with her new boyfriend, and it was fun to get together with them. Today, I plan to work most of the day, and then B and I are headed to his sister's for dinner and hanging out with the nephews.
I have to work this upcoming weekend so I tried to really enjoy this past one!
Saturday we had my niece's 3rd birthday party. She was so adorable! Anything she got, she was overly excited about. Part of a present was a frisbee and she yells out 'now I have another one!'
Sunday I raced a 5k. Not my best time (25:36) but I felt good about it. It was for Ronald McDonald house and a lot of money was raised. At the end I felt like I had jumped into a pool it was so hot and humid. We also had someone come by to see the house. We're hoping it sells and sells quickly this time.
