BR: First Ultrasound & PIP
My first appointment for this pregnancy was last Friday. The baby had a visable heartbeat at 7w6d (we didn't get the count or hear it, but we could see it beating away) and had ARMS! I was impressed with the arms, and can't stop staring at them. The Dr. said everything looked great, and at this point the rate of miscarriage is about 2%. We're still cautiously excited, but I feel so hopeful. He confirmed the due date of January 7th, 2012.
Here he/she is:

Re: BR: First Ultrasound & PIP
Hehe. Even though I know the arm buds appear around week 5, I didn't expect to be able to actually see them on the ultrasound this early. It was surreal.
We're definitely going to find out the sex as long as MiMo (nn) cooperates. We're hoping boy, but neither of us would be disappointed for a second if it's a girl, and truly, I have a strong feeling it is a girl.
Yay for heartbeats and little baby arms
6ish more weeks till I get to see my little peanut, I can't wait!
I ended up telling Friday afternoon, because Jeremy was super excited and I didn't trust him not to put it on Facebook (he hasn't.....so far). But I gave her a call and told her and she was actually really excited for me, and asked how i've been feeling, told me to let her know if I need anything baby gear wise, etc. I cried the second I hung up the phone and J laughed at me. Thanks for your help!
