Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! We had fun up in NH, but with our kitchen unusable from water damage from the hot water tank in the unit upstairs failing, it's a bit disruptive and not so relaxing. And we had our annual property owners meeting, which was a clusterfxck... 5 hours of politically charged rantings of mainly 70 year olds..
We came back to our new apartment on the early side on Monday, and spent hours and hours trying to get stuff into our storage unit, finally, (about a quarter of a mile away in our complex), and then finally went to dinner with my cousin and the woman he started dating last month (his wife officially asked for a separation in March after a year of trying to work on the marriage together). That was a little unusual... She's a nice woman, but just so weird to see my cousin with someone other than the woman he's been with since he was 16 (now 38).
All in all, a busy and hectic weekend, and I feel like I could use an entire new weekend to recover!
How was a everyone else's weekend?
Re: Weekend Round up? At least it it is only a 4 day work week!
I painted and then painted some more, lol. But now bathroom and bedroom ceilings and walls are painted. Then I got to prime and paint trim also, so DH can start putting everything back together.
Unfortunately all that painting let to lots of pain yesterday when I woke up with my right hand asleep and then pain up to my elbow. So yesterday and today I am sporting my super cool wrist brace in the hopes that I'm not having carpal tunnel surgery before 30.
I did get a new umbrella and base for our other table this weekend. And yesterday we did get to enjoy the pool for a bit in the afternoon.
And now, back to the grind.

Pretty decent weekend. We did a lot of returns on Friday and Saturday (tiiiiiring) then had dinner out each day (we are getting so bad with this).
Sunday BBQ at a friends.
Monday a friend came over with her son, it was a really nice visit. Earlier in the day dh and I did yardwork and I cleaned house it was quite exhausting especially with all the high temps.
DH also turned the heat off on the hot tub and it's now the temperature of a heated pool (85 degrees) so I can go in it to cool down. It feels nice and cool like a pool.
Sat: we had a quick visit with my cousin. Got to see my cousin visitin from NYC, and her sister who has a 1mth old daughter. So nice to see everyone. I hadn't seen the baby since she was a week old. I can't believe how much she has grown in such a short time!
Then we went over to BIL's to help move more stuff over to his gf's new house. I feel so bad his gf has been sick with Bronchitos (sp?) for the last 3 weeks. And now her Dr. told her that she can't live in her new house for at least a week while the paint fumes clear out and she may end up having to rip out the carpet and refinish the hardwood since the lady who lived there before her had at least 1 cat and she is allergic. They think all of the illness might have caused her to develop asthma. Such a bummer.
Sunday: The big move. Lots of drama that gf and I avoided since we were at her place getting her place prepped for the guys to come take her stuff. Wasn't too bad once we got things going. Then met my cousin for ice cream that night to have a bit more time to see her before she went back to NYC yesterday.
Monday: Nothing.. ran a couple of errands and got our new iphones since DH's phone was charging all night but wouldn't turn on in the morning. It was a nice relaxing day!

Saturday- I had canceled my massage appointment to take Xander to an emergency doctor's visit. He just has a cold and his fever finally broke in the morning. We lazed around after getting very little sleep on Friday since the little guy was sick.
Sunday- We went to my parents for the day. We went to a parade and Xander loved it. He loved seeing all the army trucks/tanks and fire trucks and waving to them all. Andrew and I looked at a house, and are putting an offer in on it.
Monday- We hung out and relaxed.
