What will happen?

If no new posts are written?  Will the board just cease to exist?  Just curious - I'm not on here very much but I got a chance to login today.  Looks like the posts have been few and far between.

Re: What will happen?

  • I'm not sure. But I wanted to tell you congrats on the baby! He is SO cute :) How's Mommyhood treating you?

Aww thanks!  Your little one is adorable, too - I can't believe he's already almost a year old.

Mommyhood is good.  Exhausting, but I wouldn't trade a single second with him for the world.  Not that I'd complain if he learned to STTN  ;)

  • I know! Time flies! Lol!

I hear ya about the sleeping! Well, when Evan went in for his 2 mo checkup the Ped said he should be sleeping thru the night. I just laughed. He told me that babies need a certain amount of food in a 24 hr period and they don't care how they get it. So if they don't get it during the day, they'll wake up at night to eat. He told me to feed him till milk was coming out of his ears during the day. Lol. So I fed Evan every 1.5-2 hrs even if he didn't ask for it. (I nursed, but was also supplementing with formula at this point). Within 1-2 wks he was sleeping thru the night! 10-12 hrs! I was amazed. But it worked. I also had to not pick him up and help him self-soothe in the middle of the night if he did wake up. Sometimes it was difficult, especially since he didn't take a binky.

....just some unsolicited advice that might help you :)

I'll have to remember this advice! Wink

We got almost 8 hours out of him Sunday night, but last night he was up every 2 or 3 hours. Ugh.  I'm stuffing him full of milk today!

He won't take a binky, either, so that's not a soothing option for us.
